Why you ask?
Because....
Hearing "AUNTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" squealed by small people makes my heart skip a beat
They have all the answers to life's problems... "Well... it takes a male and a female to make babies...all you need to do is to find a boyfriend so you can make babies. I'll keep my eye out for you".
I totally get bribed with hugs so I won't put gel in hair.
I get gifts like the gargantuan privilege of affection "Auntie you can give me a kiss, if you want". I know it was a sacrifice and of course I took full advantage.
When I offer slumber parties anytime they want to come... I know it isn't possible for them to actually stay anytime they want, but I also know I won't be the one to tell them no.
I always have the best dates for shopping sprees and lunches.
The best ever is the honor of holding my newest baby in my arms kissing their soft faces and inhaling their beautiful newborn smell.
