{#2's Little T}
I was reading a friend's blog... shout out Natalee!...
about how she is not going to be a "Cool Mom" when it comes to hearing about her kiddo's love lives.
It reminded me about a little incident about 2 weeks ago,
it was a Sunday night and my Oldest niece Little T, who has down-syndrome and who will shortly turn 11 in a few months, came up to me and boldly told me of the love of her life.
She has found him at the ripe old age of 10.
She professed her love for him and her plans to marry him ASAP.
Apparently, to the chagrin of her father, it is a well known fact in her ward, and this cute boy lets her drag him around and she tells him exactly what to do {Maybe she knows more about this love stuff than I realize}.
I was shocked and horrified as you would expect.
My baby should NOT like boys!
I explained to her that she shouldn't date till she is 16
and ABSOLUTELY NO BOYFRIENDS till she is at least 18!
I pointed out that none of her Aunties or Uncles dated till they were 16, nor did her parents.
She would have NONE of it!
"NO! I'm gonna date when I am 11!"
I continued to try to persuade her... to no avail, instead she promptly
Uninvited me to her birthday party.
Apparently this Auntie is a square.
Ps... while lazily loafing on the floor of my parent's new home on Sunday, I was stroking her little soft face, she had her eyes closed and she whispered... "Auntie, you can come to my party."

Great story. So sweet!
The party is the biggest bargaining chip ever! I am glad you still get to go. Whew!
So cute. What a nice boy to let her drag him all over. :)
