Number 9 ran a marathon. So Mom, #3, and I flew into Vegas and drove to St. George to watch.
We got in late, woke up early... got these awesome seats under a gargantuan tree. We took tons of pictures of ourselves waiting... and waiting and waiting. We saw friends run by.. Shout out to Jamie my Shampoo Girl! Whoot Whoot! and to Heather from NYC via Colorado. I cried like a baby when people too exhausted to finish the last few steps were carried by military people across the line.
It was so motivating and amazing.

Numbers 7 and 10 came and met us as well...
The only real thing that we missed was
ACTUALLY SEEING number 9 run. Not one step not a finish, not a sweat did we see. Grrrrrr.

She placed 8th in her age group.
