I am single revisited

I am single...
these three words mean so many different things to so many people. I often resent the word and how it categorizes me. Then times i grab tightly to it knowing that being single is an accurate definition of me, and those who i relate to best. sometimes between single to single it is easy to relate just because you are single... and yet there are so many types of singleness...

so i feel it somewhat necessary to lay out the details of what kind of single i am...

i am the kind of single that has never been married
i am the kind of single that has never had children
i am the kind of single that has been kicked out of the young adult program while holding on for dear life...

i am the kind of single that loves to travel
i am the kind of single that works in a job i love
i am the kind of single that doesn't have a car payment
i am the kind of single that gets to be in young womens
i am the kind of single who talks to my puppy and dresses her too
i am the kind of single who loves jane austen
i am the kind of single that goes to ny whenever i want
i am the kind of single that calls them "my kids" and not nieces and nephews
i am the kind of single that takes my kids shopping
i am the kind of single who always brings presents
i am the type of single that is active in church and has a testimony of The Plan
i am the kind of single who loves valentines day and isn't bitter
i am the kind of single that is realistic yet very hopeful
i am the kind of single who can afford to do it for free
i am the kind of single who loves the time that i get to be single and all the opportunity it allows.
